Cookie Policy

Last updated 28 August 2026

This page lists every cookie and similar technology this site uses. It is deliberately short, because the site itself is deliberately light: there is no advertising pixel, no cross-site tracker and no third-party analytics script embedded in these pages.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to store, so that it can recognise the same browser on a later request. Related technologies such as localStorage and sessionStorage do a similar job without being sent back with every request. Where this policy says cookie, it covers those too.

What this site currently sets

Strictly necessary only. At present the marketing pages you are reading set no cookies at all. Nothing on this page requires your consent, because there is nothing to consent to.

If you submit the contact form, the request carries no cookie either. Your message is validated and delivered, and that is the end of it.

What will be added at checkout

When the shop goes live, the checkout will set a small number of strictly necessary cookies: a session identifier so your basket survives a page change, a CSRF token so a third party cannot submit an order as you, and whatever your payment processor requires to complete a transaction securely.

Strictly necessary cookies do not need consent under the ePrivacy rules, because the service you asked for cannot work without them. They are session cookies and expire when you close the browser, except the payment processor cookies, whose lifetimes are set by that provider.

Analytics and marketing

We do not currently run analytics or marketing cookies. If we add them, we will ask for your consent first through a banner that lets you decline as easily as accept, and we will not set them until you agree.

We will also update this page with the name, purpose, provider and lifetime of each new cookie before it goes live, rather than after.

Embedded third-party content

Fonts are served by Google Fonts. Loading a font file sends your IP address to Google as part of the request. No cookie is set by that request, and we self-host nothing else from a third party.

The office map on our contact page is a static image, not an embedded interactive map, precisely so that visiting the page does not hand your browsing to a mapping provider.

Controlling cookies yourself

Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies, usually under Privacy or Site settings. You can block everything if you prefer; the marketing pages will work normally, and once the shop is live, blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop checkout from completing.

Browsers also offer a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. We honour GPC: if your browser sends it, we will not set any non-essential cookie even if a banner appears.

Server logs

Separately from cookies, our host records standard access logs containing your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Those logs are kept for 90 days and used only to keep the site running and secure. This is covered in more detail in our Privacy Policy.
